TKZEE is a South African Kwaito music group formed by three school friends. TKZEE shot to prominence in late 97 early 98 with their smash hit singles Phalafala and Shibobo. TKZEE has fast become a household name not just in South Africa but across the continent. TKZEE have released a number of albums and singles that have earned TKZEE platinum status as well as SAMA awards for best Kwaito album, best duo and best Kwaito single. TKZEE hail from Johannesburg, South Africa. TKZEE is confidently showing the way of the future of Kwaito the enormously popular township pop that has dominated the black market. TKZEE is a band that has rewritten South Africa's musical history of Kwaito in the country.
