Prime Circle is a rock band formed in December 2000 in Witbank, Mpumalanga, South Africa. Prime Circle is currently based in Johannesburg.
Prime Circle's first album, Hello Crazy World, released in July 2002 quickly reached platinum status and remains the highest selling rock album in South Africa. Prime Circle's second album "Live this Life" (October 2005 release) reached gold in the first 12 months cementing Prime Circle position as the biggest selling South African rock act of 2003/2004/2005/2006. In July 2006, a DVD entitled Living in a Crazy World was released, which featured hits from both albums performed live at The Function Room in Johannesburg.
Prime Circle's fourth album reached Gold status in just a couple of days, for a South African rock band that is a massive achievement. Prime Circle's album is quickly on its way to Platinum status the way it is selling. Prime Circle's albums are of top class and can easily take over any world chart from the UK to the USA. Prime Circle is in the process of touring the world to go and dominate new territories.
Prime Circle played a massive roll at the Tswane Fifa Fan Park which was hosted by Live bands parent company Standing Ovations Entertainment. Prime Circle performed to variety of different cultures and everybody rocked out of their socks. Prime Circle is truly one of South Africa's best Rock bands.
Prime Circle is also part of the Shout campaign where Prime Circle collaborated with South Africa's top artist.
