Flash Republic is one of South Africa's fastest growing electro bands. Flash Republic mixes Electro dance music with live instruments which are a combination that has taken the global music scene by storm and Flash Republic has taken this unique sound combination to a new level. Flash Republic is a five piece band consisting of a lead singer (Tamara Dey), two Dj's (Ryan Dent and Craig Massiv) a lead guitarist (Martin Rocka from Wonderboom and Martin Rocka and the Sick Shop) and a drummer (Isaac Klawansky from Soft Serve and the Shadowclub) making Flash Republic a powerhouse group of musicians.
Flash Republic performed at almost all of the Fifa Fan Festivals across the country, but the one they shined at the most was the Tswane Fan Park where they performed no less than three times. Flash Republic Electro sound had the crowds dancing the entire set in the cold weather like it was a summer's day. Flash Republic has the "IT" factor to get crowds going wild.
Flash Republic made a guest appearance on SA Idols 2010 where their latest hit 'In the name of dance' was played for the first time. Flash Republic's single 'Twister' was aired on all major South African radio stations and still today gets played a lot across the board. Flash Republic's latest hit 'In the name of dance' is getting massive response from all over and will also reach Gold or even Platinum status.
