Goldfish is composed of two young guys from Cape Town, South Africa. Their genre-defying mix of searing hot live performances and jazzy house beats has launched them head first into the world of dance music. Goldfish (Dominic Peters & David Poole) recorded an album without the help of record companies in a bedroom with a double bass a saxophone and some synths.
Since then Goldfish have done live performances around the world including the Sydney Opera house to Sao Paulo. Goldfish also have a residency at Ibiza super club Pacha. Goldfish has been called the re-invention of the DJ.
Goldfish have had renowned success, hitting a nerve on dance floors across the globe. Goldfish have released three albums with many chart topping hits. When Goldfish perform live they are DJ's, so to speak, everything is created live so Goldfish give a completely unique spontaneous performance. Goldfish have opened for many international acts including the likes of Basement Jaxx, Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Paul Van Dyk, Pete Tong and many more, making Goldfish one on South Africa's top hit acts.
