Since their move to Johannesburg in 2006, White Rabbit quickly earned the reputation as one of Johannesburg's hottest cover bands. Whilst still incredibly young, the level of musicianship in the cover band is of the highest standard and having both a male and female lead vocalist has enabled the cover band to incorporate just about every genre of music into their repertoire. Whilst originally focusing on classic rock tracks the cover band White Rabbit developed a number of incredible tribute shows that they performed successfully across the country. These events, once again, showcased the musical talent of the members as they covered legends like Guns & Roses, AC/DC and Nirvana.
However, in 2008 the cover band White Rabbit spent six months performing overseas and were exposed to an even wider variety of music and live bands and started to incorporate even more music into their already vast repertoire. These tracks include artists from the motown era through to popular reggae tracks and the latest contemporary pop icons like Lady Gaga & Black Eyed Peas.On their return to South Africa, cover band White Rabbit’s demand increased and the cover band became a hot favourite at corporate events who were looking for a good party cover band. White Rabbit's acoustic/unplugged set proved to be a hot favourite as a “dinner” set at the many corporate events that the cover band has performed at and the list of blue chip clients that have booked White Rabbit for their corporate events is too long to mention but includes Rand Merchant Bank, Waltons, Fidentia, SAB etc.
Cover band White Rabbit primarily performs as a 5 Piece cover band consisting of 2 Lead Vocals, Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar and Drums but due to the diversity of their repertoire, have on request, incorporated an additional vocalist and keyboard player into the group performing as a 7 Piece cover Band.
